Thank you for sharing. My wife Michelle and I traveled to Ghana five years ago and brought home Prince and Princella from the Village of Hope in Ghana. We also have three biological children. With our three children growing up Michelle and I began to plan for our next phase in life. Our friend Pam Cope brought us videos and pictures of children that Touch of Life was supporting in Ghana. God led our family to the twins and now they are a part of our family in Neosho, Missouri. We have yet to revisit Ghana since the adoption, however our kids and we are also very excited to return. They also have gained lots of weight and height over the last five years. They are currently both 10 years old and will be attending middle school next year. Many tell Michelle and I that they are so lucky to have been adopted by our family. We however tell them that we are the lucky ones. Michelle and I are so thankful that our friend Pam encouraged us to follow God’s plan for our family. We truly are blessed and look forward to hearing about your trip. Morris and Cheryl have shared some, but we are so glad to read your comments, knowing this has been a huge adjustment for him and for you. It is wonderful to see how well you understand him, and that you are taking him back to his roots. Things will be different, but I know you are prepared to help him see and understand the changes he will experience. We hope your trip will go well, but God will be leading all of you through it.
